What WEK Is
West End Kids is not a stage school. We operate as a performance company, working with young performers through real, public-facing performance opportunities.
Training at WEK is performance-led. Preparation exists to meet the demands of the work and the responsibility of performing for an audience.
For over 25 years, WEK has operated at a deliberately small scale, resulting in a high proportion of performers progressing into sustained professional work in the West End, on Broadway, and across the industry.

West End Kids Performance Company
Preparation & Entry Pathways
These programmes serve different functions within the West End Kids ecosystem. Not all pathways lead directly to performance company deployment.
Performance Preparation Programme
Fortnightly preparation for performers developing the consistency, technique, and professional behaviours required for higher-stakes performance work. PPP exists to build readiness for deployment into performance opportunities. Eligibility to audition is provided, but progression and casting are not guaranteed and remain suitability-based.
West End Kids Associates
Monthly technical preparation for performers building foundational skills, discipline, and consistency. Associates focuses on technical preparation. Not performance company deployment.It may be used as a preparation route where appropriate, but it is not a performance company placement.
West End Kids National Choir
Advanced ensemble-based vocal and performance training for young singers working as part of a large-scale choral group. National Choir develops musicianship, blend, stamina, and performance discipline. While it includes public performance, it operates separately from performance company deployment.
WEK: Summer Intensive '26
Short-form intensive training combining technical classes with performance-focused rehearsal. The Summer Intensive offers concentrated exposure to WEK standards and working culture. Participation does not guarantee progression but may be used as part of assessment where appropriate.
Martin Williams Vocal Studio
Specialist 1:1 and small-group vocal training led by Martin Williams, Founder and Head of Singing at West End Kids. The Vocal Studio provides focused, technical vocal development for performers seeking individual attention alongside — or separate from — West End Kids company work. Studio tuition operates independently from WEK casting and performance deployment.
West End Kids Workshops
One-day working sessions delivered by the WEK creative team, reflecting the pace and expectations of regular training. Workshops allow performers to be observed responding to direction, feedback, and professional standards. Attendance may inform assessment but does not constitute automatic entry into any programme.
