Leadenhall Market, London – 17th June 2017
West End Kids will once again entertain guests at the Leadenhall Ball, a bi-annual fundraising event that aims to raise as much money as possible in one night for the NSPCC and assorted children’s charities.
Each Leadenhall Ball over the years has had a dramatic and colourful theme. West End Kids first performed at the ball in 2013 with a ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ set to compliment their 1920’s theme:
In 2015, the West End Kids returned to perform at their ‘VE Day’ themed ball, performing uplifting song and dance titled ‘Songs Wot Won The War’:
This year is set to be BIGGER and BRIGHTER than previous years, with an ‘Indian Summer’ theme. The WEK’s are so excited to be performing a very colourful medley from the Bollywood-themed musical, Bombay Dreams:
The Ball will be held at the wonderfully historic Leadenhall Market in the heart of the City of London. Dating back to the 1300s, Leadenhall Market is one of the oldest markets in London. It’s stunning victorian architecture, with cobbled walkways and painted ceiling, makes it a famous landmark in its own right; however Harry Potter fans should know that it was the setting for Diagon Alley and in Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone!
