Martin-Gwyn Williams is the Founder, Artistic & Musical Director of the famous West End Kids Company and is also a highly sought after specialist vocal coach – working exclusively with young voices within the UK, and all over the world via his “Skype lessons”.

Working with and bringing the best out of young voices is a specialist skill. Not only in understanding the way in which young voices work and function, but in the way they think, practice and in fuelling their hunger to learn and improve. Working with and bringing out the very best in young voices is an entirely different ball game to teaching and developing adults.

By developing his skills with appointments as musical director for various London productions and working as vocal coach for some of the UK’s most prestigious theatre schools and colleges, in addition to his dedicated work with the super-talented “West End Kids” since 2001, Martin has become one of the UKs most highly sought after vocal coaches and enjoys an enviable reputation, based purely on track-record and results.

He provides vocal coaching from his Kent studio to young performers in all stages of development. Lessons are provided via “Skype” – a simple yet modern way of delivering vocal coaching that cuts down on the travelling and travelling costs. Martin has a unique viewpoint on the younger voice, “the most beneficial thing a young singer can do is to get professional vocal coaching before they start to develop bad habits. Once they kick in, lessons become predominately about breaking them, however – if you are able to get to a young voice before the habits start, then you are miles ahead of the game”.
