Name: Holly-Anne Hull (13yrs)

History: Holly-Anne came to Martin for lessons after developing pre-nodules, caused by belting and putting excessive strain on the vocal cords. Holly had a problem with abusing vowels, resulting in a tendancy to flip. Her useable vocal register was less than 1.5 octaves!

Result: 6 months after commencing lessons with Martin, Holly won a recording contract with Walt Disney. Holly-Anne is now healthy, does not suffer sore throats, has increased her vocal range by more than 2.5 octaves and has a wonderfully smooth and well connected voice. Name: Emma Lucy (12yrs)

History: Emma used to feel "pain" when singing! Complaining that whenever she sang in a strong (chest) voice, it would hurt her throat and she didn't enjoy singing anymore. She had a tendancy to flip due to her "pulling up" of her chest voice and singing with excessivley wide vowels, this resulted in a very weak and breathy higher register.

Result: Emma now experiences no pain when singing and is totally free of strain. She has added over 2.5 octaves to her range which now spans just just under 4 octaves! The before and after clips below show a dramatic improvement.
