The London-based company draws its talented young singers and dancers from all over England, offering them a unique combination of practical performance experience and intensive part-time training. Last year they provided all the musical entertainment at the official Dickens Bicentennial Dinner at the Mansion House and performed at West End Live, London’s largest musical festival. They were also on stage for the RAF’s Musical Tribute to the Queen’s Jubilee at Loseley Park, Guildford.
Event Organiser Colin Hitchins says that the dynamic song and dance routines are certain to be a big hit with Festival visitors.
“West End Kids are highly trained and energetic performers. They will be on stage in the afternoon period during a pause in the flying display so that everybody can take time to see them” he says.
Another dynamic ground arena item will be Moto-Stunts International with a combination of motorcycles, quad-bikes and Suzuki Jeeps. The group of professional drivers and riders perform high speed crossovers and ramp jumps, trick riding and wheelies.
Top professional Tony Baily has worked on many TV programmes including Scrapheap Challenge for Channel 4 and still holds the UK record for 22 men displaying on one motorcycle.
