WHAT’S INVOLVED IN BECOMING A WEST END KID?
West End Kids understand that today’s performers MUST be able to excel in the traditional world of work as well as training harder than everyone else for potential careers as performers. West End Kids keep their options open until reaching 18. We encourage that, most strongly!
Being a West End Kid requires a great deal of commitment and dedication. It’s full-time Musical Theatre training within a part-time setting, allowing you to persue the critical academic qualifications necessary for today’s generation of performers whilst also maintaining, developing and learning performance skills to the absolute highest of standards.
WEKs rehearse for 9hrs each Saturday in Central London with a very active performance schedule. Rehearsals and the vast majority of performances do not interfere or require any time off school / college. Home rehearsal plays a key part in the life of a WEK.
If you are truly serious about the standard of your performing, have aspirations of a future career and/or want to perform to the highest of standards and the true limits of your abilities, then West End Kids is definitely for you!
You’ll have the time of your life as a WEK! You’ll perform for a few hundred thousand people along the way too!!
