In the late 90's, I was trying to find a way to ensure those with exceptional talent and/or motivation weren't held back whilst training with those who were only there for day care (harsh but true!).
It was impossible to keep them motivated when everyone else was only there because they didn't have anything else to do.
And I was getting more and more disillusioned and frustrated.
Then, as I'd feared - the most talented and promising students left the school and gave up performing all together... due to bordeom! Noooo!... and I was so excited about the progress they could make.
I love teaching because I'm passionate and determined to help ambitious young performers achieve their dreams through hard work and dedication... I wasn't ready to give up!
It dawned on me that I could change this. I could create something unique and special. It would be for those super motivated and enthusiastic young performers.
At that point, everything changed for me!
