West End Kids
Where young performers train and perform at the highest level.
Showcase your talent on prestigious stages
From global brands to renowned festivals, West End Kids perform at iconic events, showcasing the exceptional opportunities and talent of our young performers.
A different kind of training
West End Kids is not a typical stage school. It is an audition-based training and performance company, where young performers work towards a professional standard and real performance opportunities. Students are expected to commit, develop, and take their work seriously. In return, they gain access to:
- high-level training
- a clear pathway into performance
- opportunities to perform at major events and venues
A clear pathway from training to performance
West End Kids operates through a structured pathway:
Each stage builds towards the next.
Students enter the programme, develop through focussed training, and progress towards performance at the highest level.
Core training and performance
WEK: Training
The development pathway into the West End Kids Troupe. Students train across the year, building skills, discipline and performance standard required to progress. WEK: Training provides structured training, performance focus and end-of-season performances.
West End Kids Troupe
The highest level of the programme. A selective group of public-facing performers who rehearse and prepare for performances at major events and venues whilst working to professional standard.
25 years
Summer Intensive
A short-term, high level training experience. The WEK: Summer Intensive is designed for performers who want to experience West End Kids style of training, develop quickly and work intensively over a focused period.
Associates
A more flexible training option. West End Kids Associates is designed for those who want to continue developing skills and train regularly without committing to the full pathway.
How training is delivered
Training at West End Kids is built around focused rehearsal periods across the year, rather than a continuous weekly class model.
This allows students to:
- work with greater focus
- develop more quickly
- prepare properly for performance
Rehearsals are structured to reflect how work is created in the professional industry - with clear preparation, development, and performance phases.
Performance is the goal
Performance sits at the centre of West End Kids. Accross the year, students may:
- perform as part of the Troupe
- be selected for specific performance opportunities
- take part in end-of-season performances
Performance opportunities are:
- earned through developent
- based on readiness and standard
